You summed it up pretty well. A moderate amount of TV is good for the mind, heart and soul. 
I agree with you. It would be wise to leave Big Love out of the discussion :).  Though sometimes I think no one would want to try polygamy after seeing all the chaos that family experiences on a daily basis.</description>

The idea that we have to be productive in every minute of every day is extremely damaging to our psyche. I went through 5 years of my life not wanting to waste my time watching TV, only to realize that I missed out on a great deal of entertainment and creativity.

Even if there&#039;s no benefit to TV apart from entertainment, that&#039;s still a huge benefit that we can be too quick to dismiss. Escapism as a lifestyle is bad, but turning away from your problems and worries every now and then for some rejuvenation is not only sensible but essential.

Having said all that, I personally wouldn&#039;t discuss Big Love with my wife. I doubt &quot;positive discussions&quot; would come out of that! :P</description>
